At its heart, I Escaped My Killer is about capturing internal struggle and divisions that plague the victims. I strived to find a striking way to reveal the title in a way that captured the division in a way that is both compelling and relatable. 

Looking through dailies I was struck by footage of one of our actresses running in a field away from the camera. I became intrigued by the idea of seeing it from the perspective of 'the killer'. We are literally watching a victim escape through a broken window from the killers perspective. Capturing this became the core of my approach.
