I kept circling the process that detectives go through in identifying suspects. Then one evening I'm watching Se7en and there's a scene where Morgan Freeman's character is using a precursor to facial recognition software - a small flip book of eyes, noses, and mouths in order to create a visual profile. It was my ah-ha moment!
